Support for the transition from taught degree programmes to research degrees is becoming particularly urgent with the reported extra funding of £20M for PhD places and the expansion of the HIMR programme. ICMS has resources to address this need across research areas and geographical regions. This workshop provided an opportunity for the mathematical sciences community to find out more about the resources available to early career researcher.
