‘I certainly learned a lot, got to meet the younger participants and meet again my more senior colleagues. The talks were all excellent and we had a good mixture of ERC and senior speakers. Some were truly outstanding.’

The purpose of this conference was to bring together researchers working on random walks, correlated percolation models, mixing and cutoff, in order to foster interaction and collaboration and to identify interesting future directions for research. There has been a lot of progress recently in these three areas of research and major breakthrough results were possible due to cross fertilisation of ideas between fields.
