This workshop is part of the ICMS Knowledge Exchange Catalyst project “Safe use of AI for emulation in healthcare with application to diagnosis of osteoporosis using standard X-rays”, a collaboration between Durham University and IBEX Innovations.
Participants will discuss the big challenges and implications of utilising artificial intelligence in healthcare. Following the themes of the project, they will discuss the challenges overcome and successes achieved in the area of opportunistic osteoporotic X-ray imaging, with talks from both Durham University and IBEX Innovations. After a networking lunch, the afternoon will comprise discussion panels on the challenges facing IBEX Innovations with potential for future collaboration, and the implications of AI in healthcare more generally.
