About Workshop

This interdisciplinary workshop will bring together experts in statistics, mathematical modelling, climate science, public health and fisheries to tackle critical climate resilience challenges in Africa.

Through keynote talks, research presentations and collaborative data challenges, participants will co-develop innovative, data-driven solutions with real-world impact.

  • Quantifying the Impact of Rising Heat Exposure on Maternal and Child Health in Africa
  • Improving Rainfall Forecast Skill in Africa Through Statistical Post-Processing of Numerical Weather Models

Participation is by invitation of the Scientific Organisers; there is no application or registration for this workshop. Invited speakers/participants will be contacted by ICMS directly.
