Recent advances such as DeepMind’s AlphaFold and the LEAN project have demonstrated the transformative potential of AI in scientific research. Our workshop will explore how AI can advance economic and social science research. Our primary focus will be AI for economic research, but we may also address some of the economic and social impacts of AI.

We would like each participant to give a talk, but we aim to keep the schedule relatively light to allow ample time for informal discussion and to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas between researchers at all career stages. The application form requires submission of a proposed talk title and abstract.
All applicants will be notified of outcomes no later than end of January by ICMS staff only. We can offer up to 5 nights of accommodation to successful applicants.
