Since 2015, mathematicians at the University of Liverpool have been collaborating with composers at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), resulting in new compositions and musical practices. Mathematician Lasse Rempe and composer Simon Knighton will discuss the collaboration, with video excerpts of performances and a live demonstration of one of Knighton’s musical installations.
