The goal of the workshop was to encourage discussion in the UKHE mathematics community on these topics, as well as to identify effective interventions. This workshop took place over two days in January as a virtual workshop, hosted by ICMS. Speakers and discussion focused on three interlinking themes: diversity in the history of mathematics, racial considerations in the interaction of mathematics and statistics with society, and inclusive pedagogy. The event aimed to identify strategies that could be easily implemented within existing modules as well as longer term goals on which the mathematics community could collaborate moving into the future.
