Maths Week Scotland 2025: Wild Maths

Maths Week 2025 takes place between 22-28 September this year. The theme is Wild Maths – bringing nature and numbers together. This excellent project shines a light on mathematics each year and activities for schools, families and adults take place all over Scotland. The project is managed by the National Museums of Scotland, and funded by the Scottish Government. Our friends at the Edinburgh Mathematical Society and the Glasgow Mathematical Journal Trust fund the small grants scheme for schools. These small grants awarded to nursery, primary and secondary schools fund small projects with direct benefit and impact for young learners. Further details about the activities and a map showing all the schools invovled (updated daily) can be found on the Maths Week Scotland website. On the website you can also find resources, challenges and games in both English and Scottish Gaelic.
